How do I enable WiFi on my Acer Aspire 5710Z?
I have 12.4lts ubuntu
Internet works fine through hard wire
tried additional hardware and update manager... everything up to date.
Fn F3 button doesnt work, also none of the laptops hard keys above the
keyboard work (including wifi obviously amoung mail bluetooth and saturn)
i found a forum where i enabled wifi through terminal.. it then
disconected me from the hard line and for the first time the wifi signal
came up... it showed it was searching (flashing up to down) and searching
for approx 30 seconds then dissapeared and thus turned back on hardwire
interenet.
so glimer of hope... to me i feel like ubuntu turned on wifi but the
computer doesnt have it running.
Help please! P.S i cant find anywhere in bios where i can play with
networking.. someone will have to walk me through that if you think thats
the problem.
